A40 Evening & Overnight Road Closure, Change of Dates

The A40 in Dowdeswell will be closed overnight for surface repairs between the hours of 7pm and 7am from 30th August to 11th September.  This is another change to the dates originally given for this closure and still have not yet been confirmed

The section of road to be closed is roughly where the road runs adjacent to the reservoir. i.e. traveling towards Cheltenham, from the bottom of Tunnel Hill by the turning to Dowdeswell to a point near the Cheltenham end of the reservoir before you get to Koloshi.

The official diversion is via the A40 to the Frogmill, the A436 to Seven Springs, then the A435 Cirencester Road & Holy Apostles Church and back on the A40 to Six Ways etc.

(The original dates for this closure were from 26th July to 8th August).

If you require any further information regarding this closure, please contact the office of Bill Bellerby (Road Space Co-ordinator) at Gloucestershire County Council on 08000 514514
