Sevenhampton Parish Council
Minutes of a meeting of the Parish Council
held on Thursday 23rd September 2010
In the Reading Room, Rhodes Memorial Hall Brockhampton

Present:    Bill Jenkin    Di Brown    Harry Boyd    Lynne Jackson
Apologies:    Clive Norden    Bill Lanfear
In attendance:    Brian Turner (Chairman Village Hall Committee)
  1. There were no declarations of interest in the matter
     
  2. After lengthy discussion and perusal of the quotation for the refurbishment of the toilets and other remedial works at Rhodes Memorial Hall by the Village Hall Committee,  it was proposed by HB, seconded DB and RESOLVED:
    “that a sum of up to £6,000 be made available to the Village Hall Committee by  the parish council as custodian trustee of the village hall towards funding such remedial works.    The sum would be paid out from the Way Forward account which had been set up specifically for such a purpose”
     
  3. There being no further business the chairman closed the meeting at 7.45pm
