  1. Apologies had been received from Charles Arkell and Bill Jenkin.
  2. The minutes of the last meeting were read, approved and signed as a true record of the proceedings.
  3. Chairman’s report:  The chairman reported on the developments within the community since the last meeting – the speed limit signs, the village web site, the affordable housing project and the possible planning application for two wind turbines.   All in all one of the busiest years on record for the parish council.   She gave her personal thanks to the clerk and all the councillors for their work and support over the last year and special thanks to Bill and Anne Jenkin for Village Live and the Rural Cinema and to Bill for Neighbourhoood Watch.  The chairman also thanked Vanessa Holland for looking after the hall diary and setting up the room for the meetings and to all those who had given her support over the year. (for full text of report click here)
  4. Question time:  Anne Jackson asked whether it was possible for Fosseway Housing to increase the parking area in front of Chapel Cottages.   The clerk to investigate.   Roger Gibson asked about the present position regarding the RUPPS – this would be dealt with in the following meeting.   Maurice Cann and Di Brown referred to the recent burglary in the village.   A mention was to be made in Village Live.   Alex Ash said that fly posting was still happening.   The clerk to deal with this.   Special thanks was given to John Jackson for his years as tree warden as he now no longer feels he can carry on.   An advert will be placed in Village Live for his replacement.
  5. The meeting was closed at 7.20 and was followed by coffee and biscuits.
