 BADS
evolved from the Leisure Club which was formed in 1976 by a group of
enthusiasts who wished to make full use of the Village Hall
facilities. Sadly, of several activities provided at that time,
BADS is the sole survivor, and the current members are therefore even
more determined to ensure the society continues.Current plans are for a play production in the spring of 2008 followed by a pantomime later in the year. We have some keen new members willing to produce, direct and take part but always need more volunteers to help out. Even if you don’t want to ‘tread the boards’ there are plenty of other things to do, from backstage to front of house. No previous experience is required – just a willingness to take part, either on stage or off, whilst having a lot of fun.
